A Little About Me
I truly believe if you love what you do, the end result will show it. I believe this is why I love it so. I'm a self taught artist who works out of my home 'studio' in the central San Joaquin Valley of California. My main medium is polymer clay, but I'm always trying other mediums, always open to new ideas. I work without molds, drawing ideas from mythology, my imagination, nature and my five beautiful grandchildren. I usually start out with a particular idea in mind, but the clay sometimes seems to know what it wants to be before I do, and pleasantly surprises me!

I started sculpting late in life. I only wish I had discovered my passion for it sooner. My daughter in law (who incidentally designed my webpage and shares my name) introduced me to polymer clay, and soon, I was hooked. As a child, I always had an active imagination and sculpting fantasy figures allows me to be a child again, without getting into as much mischief! I look at everything with a new eye for possibilities, and my ideas come from the most unexpected places. Sometimes I find myself waking in the middle of the night unable to sleep, ideas trampling on any chance of rest. Ever so quietly I sneak downstairs and do some of my best work. I love it!
This is the perfect life for me. I do what I love, and am fortunate to be able to do it at home, along side my husband of 39 years. Together we raised three wonderful sons, and looking back I realize how much fun it was, being the only female in a house of men. But now I have my girls; three great daughters-in-law, four gorgeous granddaughters and two handsome grandsons who remind me of my own when they were small.
I have met so many wonderful people through Ebay. Without them, their support and encouragement, I could not do this. My family and my friends are my mainstays, and I'm forever in their debt. Its a wonderful life I'm living right now!
I have sold hundreds of sulptures here in the United States, Australia, Canada, England and Scotland.I appreciate each and every one and want to thank all of my old customers and say welcome to the new!
